alright. we should pretty much be done buying furniture for the house (except for replacing the gargantuan television with a sleeker, modern version). we got that cute white leather tufted chair in the living room for a super deal, but i can’t help looking at images like this and wanting a more cozy chair that we can put in the nook next to the couch and curl up in! the white chair is super comfy if you’re trying to sit up and have good posture (don’t laugh, i occasionally do that!) but not slouch worthy. or curl worthy. definitely not nap worthy.
so i look at photos like this, and imagine that i could put two chairs facing the couch where our giant tv is now. we’ll see…

paint by number
i’m not the only one. lots of folks have been obsessed with paint by numbers lately—-i’ve seen it. this, however, takes it to a new level. a paint by number mural on the wall. rad. again from design*sponge. need to stop reading their before & after posts. must. sleep.

househunting

it’s been just over a month and a half now that billy and i have been looking for a house, and boy, it’s exhausting! i’m not great at restraining my excitement about the possibilities of a home, and have had to do so more than i’m typically comfortable with. the great thing is that billy and i both see so much potential in so little, so we’ve found a few houses that we could easily fashion into our home. (well, let’s be real, sometimes it would be a hell of a process—but totally possible!) but man, it’s not easy to find something between a tear-down and something that’s already been remodeled and is out of our price range. that is, something that investors aren’t drooling over with cash money falling out of their hands.
but, we persevere, and try to find odd routes that are less traveled, and keep our spirits up! but sheesh, any day now…
